Families are where it’s all at. These are shoots that are so dynamic, filled with fun from the word go, and this fun is what I try and frame. The happy times, when you are all together, just enjoying being in each other’s company, making memories that will always stay with you. And remind you, that no matter where you go, you will always be a part of the warmest hugs, the heartiest laughs, and the embrace of loving hearts.

Mommy to be shoots have all the fun and anticipation of the night before Christmas. Every pregnant mama is naturally beaming with the miracle that she holds, one that is growing with each passing second. And she is as excited as can be. What will he look like? Will her hair be like mine? Will he have his daddy’s eyes? And I just love being able to capture this longing feeling, this wait for the most precious of all gifts.

Newborns

Every single time I see a newborn, I can’t help but marvel. Marvel at these tiny miracle, fluttering between a world of dreams and reality, marvel at mothers, exhausted beyond words, but still so absolutely in love with their magnificent gift. I marvel at dads, the constant supporters who are there to make it all right. And I marvel at the families, who are always going to have this images to remind them of this special time, the beginning of a new relationship.

Weddings can be a real whirlwind. When you are planning one, it’s hard not to get sucked into all the chaos of organisation and the drama that often comes with all the organisation. But they’ve always been very special to me, as when you really get down to it, this is a day that will be etched in your memory forever. It’s the start of a beautiful journey, and in every image I try and capture that excitement, that commitment, and that promise of a life that will be filled with so many more steps hand in hand with that special forever soul.

It’s happening. The question has been asked, the resounding yes has been heard, and it’s all systems go for the biggest event of your life! Engagement shoots often happen in the middle of some of the most exciting periods of your life when everything feels like it’s going at a 100miles per second. This is why I like to make engagement shoots a bit of a break. It’s all about you, and taking that time to look back on the wonderful path that led you here, and reflect on all the possibilities that lie ahead. I try and capture those intimate moments that just the two of you share, the love that bonds you together. After all, love is all you will ever really need!
